Yishun Hospital, Walls of Louvres for Natural Air
Singapore
Breezway’s Altair Louvre Windows now adorn Yishun Community Hospital, one of Singapore’s largest community hospitals providing rehabilitation services. The concept design for Yishun Community Hospital promotes innovation in health education and training, along with a tranquil healing environment for patients.
Located adjacent to the acute-care wing of Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital, the two medical centres are connected via a sky link bridge, and offers patients integrated healthcare services.
The louvre window technology has made Yishun Hospital a cheerful and therapeutic environment – an ideal setting for healing and restoration.
Altair Louvres with the Slimline System have been installed in the top and middle row of louvre windows. With blades that open close to horizontal, abundant fresh air can flow in to keep patients and staff feeling comfortable while enjoying unobstructed outdoor views of the rainforest greenery surrounding the site.
